Odd problem with emulator-3.ini file in MameWah

Here's what seems to me to be a rather odd problem I just developed while setting up my various games lists in MameWah.

I've created 13 different lists, each with a mame-?.ini file.  I'm then transferring games from my main game list to the various other lists.  So far, it's gone smoothly...with one exception.

No matter how I try, I simply cannot add games to the mame-3.ini list.  All of the other ones work, and the formatting on mame-3.ini is the same as the other non-main lists.  I tried giving it a different number, which allowed me to add games to it, but then when I changed the number back to 3, all the games that I had added were gone.

I'm at a loss.  Anyone else ever experienced this?  Anyone have any ideas on how to fix it (other than leaving list 3 blank, I mean)?
