Football Pool week 4
« on: September 25, 2007, 02:26:13 pm »
OK Sharidan got that one with 6 over Tommy's 4. That's one week down for Sharidan if he wins this week he gets the coindoor. Here's this weeks picks. And you can post them in here if you want I really don't care. For those of you
who don't know this is a football pool for a coindoor. All you have to do is win 2 weeks in a row and it's yours. Pick the teams for this week that you want to win...for Mondays game you pick who you would like to win and the points you think they'll make for tie breaker reasons. Thanks

Week 6

SUN, OCT 14

Minnesota at Chicago
Miami at Cleveland
Washington at Green Bay
Cincinnati at Kansas City
Tennessee at Tampa Bay
St. Louis at Baltimore
Houston at Jacksonville
Philadelphia at NY Jets
Carolina at Arizona
Oakland at San Diego
New England at Dallas
New Orleans at Seattle

MON, OCT 15

NY Giants at Atlanta

Message me your picks by Friday and I'll post the winners. Good Luck

Are we not posting the picks in this thread to have a real record of them?

What exactly is "pick a point spread"?  Is that the difference between points by winner and loser?

I think he means pick the total points for the game scored by both teams.

Basically just pick the point added together..if you ddin't understand just message me back with your change. A point spread is a spread of both scores. If you want to post your picks on the thread then so be it..just didn't want to clutter things up..we have allot of weeks to go.

Edit: there all fixed

Edit again: In most football pools you don't really know what everyone else picks. You have a copy and I have a copy. If you want to discuss your picks thats up to you.

I don't have to like it to pick it.  Stupid Giants.  Be worse than the Jets already.

Shouldn't be surprising that a Boston guy has trouble picking one NY team over another NY team.  I'm hoping a huge sinkhole swallows them all up during the game.

If the jets win you can rename me as NFL idiot, but i'd want to rename myself if i win. This aware thing has made me not aware of why i'm aware.

I'm not sure why you would pick them over the giants. The jets offense consists of nothing more then 10 yard passes and they can't even do that right. The giants might as well have been the colts compared to the jets.

Dang I did horrible this week. One question though:

How does a 43 year old retiree walk in off the street a few days before and then throw for a win? Oh, and "Hurt" Warner is a ---smurfette--- and needs to retire badly.

He was on the Patriots until the end of camp so it's not like he hasn't been in the NFL recently.  I went to a few preseason practices... dude is in maniacal condition.  He was running sprints that the 24 year old skill players were choking on and he was still standing up straight.  Gotta respect that.

And it's hard for me to say that about Testaverde... as a Bucs fan, for years, his name was a profanity to me.
