No . . . Xecutor 2 is just the BIOS that's loaded to the chip. The chip could be something completely different (I know that Xeniums have a multi-colored LED on them and purple is a selectable color). My guess is that you've got a Xenium SpICE solderless chip and it's the solderless business that's giving you grief as far as keeping the LPC port aligned. If that's the case, you'll just want to adjust it by manually wiggling it around and then testing and wiggling and testing until it's got a good, solid, connection, tighten down the screw, then test it again, and then put hot glue on each of the wires, and around the little thing with the pogopins that attaches to the LPC port. Of all the Xbox mods I've done, I've had the same success with a hot-glued solderless chip as with a soldered chip (which is to say 100%).
One more thing, though, what is the light on the front of the Xbox doing? That light cannot go purple (unless it's been replaced with a new LED). It can be red, orange or green. Without knowing specifically what chip you have in there, the light on the front of the Xbox (the ring-shaped light that surrounds the eject button) is much more important than the LED on the modchip itself.
