Are TVs any good for an arcade machine?

If the TV has SCART or RGB inputs then it's fairly simple.
But most in the US televisions won't have either choice, so then it's not reccomended to mess with it.

Technically a TV has the same quality as an original arcade monitor though.
Not a technician . . . . just a DIY'er.
