General OS setup question
« on: September 16, 2007, 12:51:47 am »
What is the prevailing thought around how to enable mame cabinets to play older PC games that don't/won't run on XP?  Are most people doing a dual-boot with multiple OS's?  Running MS Virtual PC?  DosBox?  I'd like to have this functionality but am not sure how to go about it.

I am currently running WinXP with MameWah as a front end on a primary drive of 60GB (where all my mame roms, etc. are located).  I just installed a second drive (300GB) to allow for a music collection as well as PC games not associated with mame.  I'd love to hear what the various options are that people have tried and found successful before I attempt to stumble my way through this.
