ACT Labs lightgun and DVI
« on: September 09, 2007, 08:43:25 pm »
Hi I am thinking of purchasing an ACT labs gun, I have a CRT monitor but my video card has a DVI interface for which I use a VGA adapter. Is it possible for this light gun to work with this type of configuration or does the card actually need to have an actual VGA output?

Also does this gun support a rapid fire or simulated machine gun mode? For example having the screen flash multiple times when the trigger is pressed.

Thanks for anyones help on this!

I have a computer monitor gun and it plugs into the vga connector and the monitor plugs into the act labs box.   As long as your dvi to vga connector works with a monitor is should work with the gun.  There is no rapid fire as far as I know.
