Vertical Rolling on TV
« on: September 06, 2007, 03:45:00 pm »
I have a Massystems super gun which is connected to a 24 inch toshiba flat screen CRT through an S-video. At times there are vertically rolling bars that roll up the screen from the bottom to the top. Sometimes they are almost nonexistent other times there easily noticable so it would seem it is some sort of V-sync problem maybe. Is there anyway to correct this problem.

It sounds like it might be interference as well. I'm not a tech expert, but is there anything there that might be causing that?

the only thing I can think of is the speaker it is fairly close maybe 2-3 feet from the TV and  it is unshielded I could try moving it farther away but i'm not sure it is the problem because the TV is fine when I just watch regular TV. It almost seems like a sync problem I wonder if adjusting the vertical hold (assuming there is a vertical hold adjustment within this TV) would help.  I would welcome any advice anyone has
