Where's cool/arcadey to go in Tokyo?
« on: September 02, 2007, 03:05:05 pm »
I'm off on holiday to Japan in a week, staying in Tokyo and Kyoto. (YAY!!!  ;D )  Does anyone know of any cool places to visit?

Something like "Taito World", "Nintendo Planet" etc... would be ace :)  Do such places exist?

I read there is a "Sega Joypolis", so I'll def be on the lookout for that!

Not arcadey specifically, but cool if you are into electronics in general - The Akihabara district is supposed to be worth the visit.

Aaaah, lucky dog, you.

One of my dreams was to have this girlfriend who was born in Japan and was fluent in Japanese and English.  Then, we would go over to Japan to see her grandparents or whatnot and she would show me around the country like only a native can.  I love their food, culture and chicks.

I married an Irish girl so that all went kaput, tho. ;D

can't say anything about arcades in the area, but I know the area just around the Tokyo Hard Rock Cafe has some great bars to go drinking in.....
