New pics online
« on: April 29, 2003, 06:16:12 pm »
Just anouncing that there are some new pictures of my cabinet online.  Just about done!  I have the control panel wired, the monitor shelf installed and the bezel cutout and ready to be installed.  Should be complete in just a few days!  My website is:

http://www.classic-game-remakes.com/

if you would like to check them out!

The link shouldn't have the / on the end.

Btw, looks nice but why did you place the monitor so low.  Are you planning on having a larger screen a bit later on?  Seems strange having such a large space above the screen but that's just my opinion.

Keep up the good work
Cheers

I did it that way for a few reasons:

1) It was at a better eye level for me when I'm sitting down.  (It will be used for things other than arcade games).

2) That way the bezel wouldn't have to have a bottom, the screen itself would be the bottom.  My monitor's bottom is shapped rather oddly, and it would be difficult to cut.

It does look a little low, but I think once the whole bezel is painted black it will blend in a little more with the monitor and not look so odd.

I appreciate the input, it's always good to get some feedback.

Yea, sorry about that.  I just kind of threw the cabinet page together.  I will make it much easier to navigate/faster loading shortly.

Ok, I redid the cabinet page so it's much faster loading, and is also much easier to find from the main page.  I have done some more work on the cabinet and will upload some new pictures soon so you can check them out.  Basically I have painted the bezel and added some Pac-Man images to give it a beter look, and am very pleased with the results.

Ok, the new picture is online that shows the point that it's currently at.  I have everything ready to go except painting the front of the cabinet.
