11AK19 tv chassis - service mode options to enable RGB input
« on: August 30, 2007, 12:37:53 am »
Hi

I've got a Teac EU-51ST television which I'm trying to get working as an arcade monitor. This TV, like several other brands, uses the 11AK19 chassis.

My TV has a SCART connector, and according to the chassis circuit diagram, has the RGB input pins connected to the main video IC. The problem is the RGB signal is not showing on the screen.

I suspect its because the correct programming hasnt been set in the options when you enter the service mode for the tv/chassis. I think if I find the correct bit flags in the options then it may work.

So, I'm hoping someone out there has one of these tv / chassis and can help.

It's a long shot and if it doesn't work I'm probably going the route of genuine arcade monitor.
