Yeah I come to the forum for publicity, to help and to see what is going on.....
I do not mind helping with anything I can.
Anyway here is the scoop on the vector monitor question:
- When Electrohome did the G08, it was a nightmare, I cannot even re-call how many engineers, reworks at the factory and everywhere else.
- Electrohome being what they were then ( a very responsible and professional company) had the resources to step up to the plate and fixed the problems. After all right then there was a huge demand for the X-Y monitors, so pay off would come.
- In today's world, it is getting harder and harder to get tubes ( factories are closing left and right. Same with deflection yokes. In order to get tubes and yokes, I would say a minimum comitment of 20,000 to 30,000 units. Plus at least $30,000 in tooling.
Pretty hard pressed to find that much in sales for X-Y monitors these days.
I get the same question every few month's, last guy coined it right when he said:
" Count me in as customer number 1, I will give you a shout when I have another 19,999 behind me"
Thanks for the feed back.
