8liners chassis and isolation transformer
« on: August 16, 2007, 08:02:25 pm »
Hi guys.

First post here.

Do the 8liner's monitor chassis need an isolation transformer?

Regards

No, their JenShinn brand chassis have not in the past, but verify that they haven't switched suppliers or models.

Remember you can always plug in a chassis that doesnt need isolation into an isolation transformer and not have any problems, just a tad more power usage. But definitely not the other way around. If in doubt--always isolate.

Hi Pac-Fan

Mine is a Jen-Shinn monitor chassis, model 329:

So it looks I don't need an isolation transformer. Anyway, I'm still waiting for Victor Genao's to confirm this.
