Having Mortal Kombats play nice with others...
« on: August 14, 2007, 10:20:19 pm »
OK so I've got my first "test" of all my hardware up and running.  Everything seems to be working well, but since I'm using a non-swtiching standard res arcade monitor (using ArcadeVGA & J-Pac) when I switch between a Mortal Kombat game after running a game that's usually uses 60hz (MK uses something like 53hz) of course the screen rolls until I adjust the V-Hold.

I'm just wondering if there's a resolution or refresh rate that will still look good with Mortal Kombat, but allow me to switch to my other games without adjusting the V-Hold everytime.

Since I know most of the game use 60, I'm more inclined to "force" MK to work the way I want... vs having all the games run they way MK wants.

I'm not home to run tests right now and I had just enough time to make sure the current rough setup was working before running off to work.

Any tips will be appreciated,
TK.
