I would have just PM'd this question but then if I am guessing correctly nobody would have gained any knowledge from it.

Is your name any reference to the Primus album Frizzle Fry?

Maybe if people knew where the "Fried" came from they wouldn't see "Fred" every time they looked.

I don't see where else it could have come from. Anyways, he looks like a Primus fan. ;)

On that note, I hear Tim Alexander has joined back up for a concert run. I've always wanted to go see them, but they aren't much of an East Coast band.

I saw them in Pittsburgh a few years ago.  They put on an awesome show!!  They played for over 2 hours.

I have the Videoplasty video they put out, and that is the closest I've gotten to seeing them live. ;D I almost went to Ozz-fest when they were headliners, but my buddy backed out on me. :'(

Brain didn't have the crazy syncopation rhythms that Alexander used, but he could rip a kick ass solo for sure.

Since we are on the Primus subject, which album is you guys' fav?

I think I have always been a toss-up between Brown Album and Suck on This. I had a Brown album T-shirt that I wore until it literally fell apart. My wife HATED it. ;D

The Brown Album and Pork Soda are probably my 2 favorites.  My wife hates Primus.  I just added Primus: Hallucino-Genetics Live 2004 to my netflix queue last week.

Yes sir,  FrizzleFried came about as I am a huge Primus fan,  and FrizzleFry is one of my favorite albums and songs.  I use "frizfry" as one of my email addresses.

BTW...

PRIMUS SUCKS!

I used to be so hardcore into Primus that I bought Miscellaneous Debris, LC & the Holy Mackerel, AND a promo copy of Sausage.  8)
My wife has always hated Primus too. She s and a friend listened to one of my cd's once back when we were dating and claimed it sounded like Satanic music. I just said "You realize the song you were listening to was about fishing, right?" :laugh2: :laugh2:

Hahaha... I have a Sausage CD somewhere...like it but it's much more cerebral than good ole Primus.

You should try to play some Deicide in the house...THEN she'd hear satanic music!

Hehe, Primus is the devil, but she is a HUGE fan of Disturbed. :laugh2: She's went to 2 Disturbed concerts with me, hung out with the band for a while at one of them, and has all of their cd's AND listens to them on a regular basis.
