Tempest Spinner Activation
« on: July 31, 2007, 08:01:51 pm »
I have never hooked up a spinner in Mame before. Seems simple enough, but the key mapping utility does not recognize my spinner-for example keyboard input is changed with ENTER, then the new key-under Dial Z I cannot get anything to register.

I checked out the mame faq but ?

This has got to be common, but the only information I found was to refer to the mame faq. Oscar spinner works perfectly on z-axis in Windows.

Meanwhile-keys must be used to play spinner games!

Did you enable mouse support?  What version of Mame are you using?  Mame32?

I have too many versions of mame obviously, I checked and mouse support was not enabled-that made it work. Thanks.
