Any advancemenu users? Still working for you w/ latest mame releases?

Just wondering when AdvanceMenu seemed to break due to mame changes.  I have .117 installed and it fixes my sound issues w/ Asteroids Deluxe but AdvanceMenu won't run.  Might have to download the source code (or switch to Mala).

Spent a while troubleshooting this (via -log, misc_quiet option, and looking at the source code).   AdvanceMenu does not like trailing '\' on paths specified in mame.ini.  Just an FYI...

Yeah it's simple but it works great.  Lots of flexibility.  Too bad it's not maintained anymore.  It does do everything I need though (auto rotate game, 2 different sets of things to filter on, sound snippets, rotation of display, and hw control).

is there a way to sort the games according to year, OLDEST first? it always shows up newest first on my setup. i'm using advmenu v2.4.13 for dos.
