Special Criminal Investigation S.C.I. Arcade Probelms
« on: July 27, 2007, 11:54:25 pm »
I have a Taito Special criminal investigation game and I am having problems getting it to work properly. I plugged the machine in and when I flipped the switch on the top of the cab, I recieved a minor shock. The monitor turned on, but was scrambled. Nothing else loads. I touched the coin door and it shocked the hell out of me. Any ideas on what could be causing this?

Is the ground in the 3 prong AC plug intact?   Is it wired to the correct place in the cab?

I'd unplug it and start checking the AC wiring in the cab.

Last time I heard someone was getting shocked from a cab the hot was wired to the neutral and who knows how where the ground was.
