Jamma Moniter question
« on: July 23, 2007, 09:39:21 pm »
I have a 33" cabinet that should house a 33" moniter.  I would like to put in a 36" moniter and my question is......can I wire in a regular TV into the houseing?  If so how does that work?  I know i have to remove the shell off of the TV and discharge it then build a bracket around it.  I am not sure how to wire it in from that point with power and video.  TIA

It all depends on what you actually plan on running on it.

A JAMMA setup I assume from the post title.

If that's the case, then no. Not without an RGB to NTSC type converter.

Yes, I will be running Jamma games on it.  I am getting a Jamma 4 to 1 adapter so that I can have 4 games running off of it.  So where could I get these converters from?  Thanks!

Here's just ONE example.
http://www.twobits.com/RGB/

Google - "RGB to NTSC"

There's many out there.
I don't have a particular one to reccomend.
Maybe someone else on here might.

Here is another source for an RGB to NTSC converter.  These are used in alot of units and work very well.
