small display on certain games
« on: July 23, 2007, 06:26:19 pm »
Hey guys!
I am really liking my machine now!! Thanks to all who has helped me with mame configuration as well as front end problems!! I am now faced with another delema. I have an arcade VGA ver 1 running an cga monitor in 640x288. Front end, and most games look great. I have them streched across the 34" tube for a huge display. Granted this may make some purists upset because its not original, but I like it. I set it up with the arvgares tool, which generated the ini files. I finally got the vectors looking halfway decent, but a few games like asteroids deluxe, omega race, and centipede are really tiny. I would like to strech these to fit as well. I edited the ini to be 640x288 with hwstrch on and bezels off. anyone have any similar problems or better yet solutions?
I did a search, but no luck there.
thanks as always!!
