Burn Notice...Anyone else seen it?

A few of my friends have been gathering to watch this new show on USA.

I myself don't get cable but joined them last week and the show is pretty cool.

Kinda a MacGuyver meets Magnum PI with a touch of 007 thrown in.

Very entertaining.

I have been watching it so far.  I started out of curiousity, gave it a good long shot because I like Bruce Campbell, but keep watching for the T shirts his ex wears.

You actually notice what kind of clothes she has on? Between the brogue, the guns and the large amounts of skin, I'm usually too overwhelmed to notice any details...

The brogue disappears after a while.  It's terrible, anyway... I'm married to an Irishwoman, and trust me, that Fi chick's accent is perpetually "I'm pissed enough that you shouldn't sleep tonight" Irish.

I've only caught the pilot so far...I keep forgetting to watch it when it is on regularly.  Need to fix that.

I watched the pilot and thought it was pretty good.  Then I forgot when it was on and since I lost interweb access for a little bit I couldn't look up when it was on.  So I missed ep. 2, 3 and 4.  When I got the access back I DLed them and have since caught up.

I really like the show.  It's really cool that you don't have to have seen previous episodes to follow it...  That way my gf can sit through an episode or two without me having to explain everything.

I now have my computer set up to record the next two shows so I can give them ratings and hopefully keep this show from the fate the Black Donnellys.

It looked like a good show from the previews, but I haven't seen any of the episodes yet.  I'm downloading them now, so I can get caught up by Thurs to watch it at its regular time (Thurs at 10 if your wondering)

Oh, I know it is, but on her, it works, even if they do basically say that she fakes it during the second episode. Add in the times she starts lugging about large caliber weaponry and she ends up in the smoking hot category.

I like it, but it's not going to hit my top ten anytime soon since it's pretty obviously designed as just another "good guy on the run from his own government must solve the clues to clear his name while helping kittens down from trees and little old ladies cross the road each week".

Like I said, I like it, but "Pretender" was cooler.

I agree on Pretender, but this is a great summer show-I'd still watch it during the regular season, but I wouldn't look forward to it each week like I do now.

Pretender was okay but all of the episodes were the same after a while - and it got old once you got past the novelty of how hot Miss Parker was.
