help with arcadeVGA
« on: July 19, 2007, 04:34:43 pm »
I just hooked my new one up to my 25" standard resolution, wells gardner monitor (25K7193) and the screen is dark as hell. It's not a matter of adjusting the contrast or brightness. The colors are there but they are all soooo dark. I know it is not the monitor itself because I hooked it up to another one of my working monitors and same issue.

You probably need a video amp.

That sucks... I have a 25K7191 and it didn't need an amp... I thought most of the WG's didn't need one.

here is a pic of the mame window. see how faded and colorless it looks. Like i said I know it is not the monitor because I hooked it up to one of my working game's monitor and it looks the same.

I hooked the pc , via arcadeVGA, to my mortal kombat's monitor and it still shows dark / faded colors.

Yes. I already talked with Andy and I'm just going to send it back to be replaced.
