Starting my cab but need help/advice

Ok I am starting the conversion of a Dynamo cab with a 27" monitor. I want it to have a 4 players, 4 way joystick, spinner, trackball with buttons. I will use the I-PAC4 with Opti-pac and ArcadeVGA, and oscar for the spinner. (Yes I know this will be big)

But I really need help designing a theme and the art to go with it. This is what truely seperates an ok cabinet from an exceptional one.

Orignally I was going to do a black with yellow accessories theme but something this big needs more colors. I was thinking some thing like this http://zinfari.iwarp.com/images/day_10-13_cp_top_6-low.jpg maybe crossed with http://www.cybercoma.com/supercade/images/cp_front.jpg

I basically wanna copy zinfari's design but I have (NO, zero, none, nada) computer art skills. I was thinking that I would change the colors a little and make the characters 2 SF chars in the middle and 2 old school chars on the outside.

Could some one help me with the panel overlay? Free or not...

Any other ideas for a theme are welcome.
