having trouble printing .ai file from adobe....
« on: July 17, 2007, 07:02:31 pm »
I am trying to print a marquee from an .ai file in adobe reader. however it is only showing the center of the image and the 2 sides are cut off. i have been trying to get it to print the complete picture but i am stumped.

anyone know what to do?

that's because the "document format" is inacurate.

easy to fix see pics bellow, some screenshot to help (in french, but the image speak by themselves)

open the file, select all
open the dimension palete and check the dimension of the artwork

then in file menu change the document size accordingly.

print and voila :D

I'm on the planning stage

If you have Illustrator, Zorg's directions will work. But using just a reader (I prefer fox-it), then its a different process.
