Mamewah trouble!
« on: July 14, 2007, 09:24:47 am »
Hey,

Im running mamewah version "1.62b13" and i can't get any layouts to work nor can i setup any additional emulators  :dunno

I've googled and googled but none of the information makes sense, this mamewah seems alot different? I added the entry "layout" to mamewah.ini, loaded up mamewah and it used the default layout and removed my entry from the ini

Someone... anyone... help!

I've also attached my snes.ini file, if someone could check it out and tell me where im going wrong i would appreciate it!

Thanks.

Try using "auto:rom_folder" instead of rom_folder.

I also ended up just renaming the layout I wanted to the default name and then loading it into the layout editor, picking the backgroud and saving.

does the MAME list work?

Also, is the layout.lay file you want in the root of /config?

once you set auto:rom_folder did you go back and generate the list?  I am blindly guessing now...

Grab v1.62b13a from the Mamewah board @ Mameworld - I only recently noticed that I never got round to updating my website with that version.
