VPinball, pinMAME and ArcadeVGA
« on: July 09, 2007, 10:44:39 pm »
I've been looking into VPinball and PinMAME on my pc.

Because I have an ArcadeVGA card, 640x480 is interlaced and is flicking.

So I have VPinball set to full-screen with a res of 640x288, which does not flicker. The problem is, in this res, the PinMAME scoreboard overlay is so big that it obscures part of the table, which is annoying.

I'm just wondering what options there are? If I could get VPinball to accept a slightly higher vertical res (one that doesn't flicker, but is pushing those boundaries) then it would be ok, but I don't know how to get VPinball to work with a custom res.

What have other ArcadeVGA owners done for pinball? Or have they abandoned the software because they just couldn't get it going well...
