well, i tried all different video settings, and only rgb emulation (which is painstakingly slow) didnt produce these results:

looks like you need to play with the plugins

jabos direct3d8 1.6 works fine for me

You might try the "donate" version as there have been a lot of changes since 1.6.  Have you tried other graphics plugins?  Does it work in full screen mode?
