I havent messed around with mame and mamewah in a few versions. Anyway, is there a way to hide the dos prompt that pops up after you select a game in Mamewah?

found it. it is in the mame ini command line {autodos}

Actually you are better off with {nodosbox}, at least if you are using fairly new MAME versions.
