drop target mystery

OK what am I missing here..  Been playing my SORCERER pin w/no issues w/the drop targets- we went away for a week so I didn't play it, and upon coming back and playing I have the following issue:

1. the drop targets, when 1 or 2 at a time get knocked down, they reset fine- when all 3 go down, sometimes it hangs a little before they come back up, or they don't come back up at all- you can see the machine's trying to "push" them back up, but they don't come up without powering down the game, pushing them up manually, and restarting- after that, everything's fine again and the same thing repeats (1 or 2 go down, they reset/pop back up fine, etc).

Someone help me stop the madness.  And before someone suggests it, I did read over at marvin3m, and the only thing that sounded anything relevant was cleaning the opto sensors.

The mechs get dirty.  Clean them.

Thanks Peale- I went over the shaft coming out of the coil with a Q-tip that had 91% alcohol on it, and also cleaned where the switches come in contact with each other on the back part of the assembly.  It got played today by 4 different folks, and seemed to hold up well!  I'll continue monitoring the issue but many thanks for the input-
