July 4 celebrations (US centric, maybe?)
« on: June 29, 2007, 08:29:08 pm »
It's about time we enjoyed some time off from EVERYTHING!

I'm meeting up with friends that I've kept in touch with since my sister and I were born, and some new friends we met 5 years ago.  They've all met on a a few occasions.

6 days, 25 people from age 3 to 43, stuck on a lake with 3 boats, and 3 different houses to stay at in the evening.

What could possibly go wrong?  Uh...

At least you'll more than likely have plenty of humorous stories after it's all over. ;)

Is anyone else taking their cab to their 4th parties?

I'm planning on taking mine...I don't think I'm gonna even know anyone (other than the guy hosting)...it is a party for people that my wife works with.  But I'm planning on taking 'Irish Luck' with me to show off and start some conversations.  Nothing helps us introverts come out of our shells like beer, chicks in bikinis and arcade machines (that we built)!!

Am I wrong?

Chaz... you're going to miss the Independance rally? Fourth of July in Hollister is a crazy thing

Goz,
The rally starts tomorrow and I just got back last night.  Seven hours a day on the lake, and now this?
Guess that makes for a solid 8 days of too much fun.
Pass me that tinny!

Unless it was a relaxed environment party, I personally wouldn't want to take a cab of MINE to a party. People are ruff enough on cabs, but when they get all excited around alot of friends and the competition is on, some of them think it's funny to be abusive with your stuff. We all know that friend.

I've been on the beach for 2 weeks. Good stuff. I wouldn't be on BYOAC but someone brought a laptop down here.
