What are the best wireless controllers for Gamecube?  Should I just get  wavebirds or are there some good aftermarket ones.  Any suggestions would be appreciated.

I use the cheap madcats ones you can buy at gamestop for $20.  A lot of people dont like them, but they work fine for me.

Well, my only problem with Wavebirds is that they have no rumble, but that isn't a big deal.

Wavebirds.  I've got 4 and wouldn't give them up.  They last preaty long on just the 2 batteries.  Wish I could say better about the wiimotes.

Spaz Monkey, might I suggest using the Nyko Wiimote charagers, best thing I have bought for my Wii to date.

agreed, the Nyko chargers are awesome, not to mention the fact that it is nice to have a place to put your Wiimotes when you aren't using them.

I'm a sucker for docking stations and cradles heh

Stay away from third party wireless controllers. The wavebirds are fantastic; there's really no reason to use anything else.

Well, they are kinda pricey, I bought two with my tax return to go along with the Wii I was getting, otherwise I wouldn't have touched them.

I got the cheap madcatz one they had at Circuit City, it was $20 and it works fine, zipped home and played some Rush 2049 inside of Midway Arcade Treasures 3 for the gamecube on my Wii, pretty cool.  I would be pretty interested in the Wavebird too, from everything I have read you would think they either walk on water or could solve global warming.

They are rock-solid is what they are.  You never lose signal with them, NEVER.  I reccomend them myself, although as far as controllers go, even the cheaper ones work well for the gc.

Zeosstud, you know I bet if you take the batteries out they could walk on water.

And if you use rechargeables they can help solve global warming.

I've got the wiimote covers, so I would have to cut them to have the nyko ones fit.  Are there any other rechargable batt?

The Nyko ones come with replacement covers, that also have a nice comfy grip as well.

Edit:  Oh you mean the Wiimote Condoms, I hate those things.  I want to get some skins, but not the silicone crap, they collect hair and dirt so bad.
