emu64 question for those who use it
« on: April 21, 2003, 03:09:10 pm »
I just had a few quick questions about u64 i just got it running and was very curious is it emulating killer instinct arcade version or nintendos version. i see nintendo on the front screen but it has a test mode to control the volume, difficulty level, etc just like the arcade? also in oreder to switch from ki to ki2 you have to go to game settings then switch it to the right game will a wrapper be able to go into this part to be able to switch games without having to manuelly do this everytime you want to switch games?

howard if you read this anychance you could show a printout of your u64 wrapper save me much cfg time......

The u64 wrapper doesn't require any setup... just place it in the u64 directory and your good.  run u64-launch.exe ki   for killer instinct and u64-launch.exe ki2 for ki2
:)

I had the same problem.  I didn't use a wrapper for this.  To get around it just make a copy of the .exe.  I have one copy named KI.exe and another named KI2.exe.  Open each one and configure for the corresponding game. (ie.  KI.exe is setup for KI and KI2.exe is setup for KI2)  The settings are saved for each .exe  They don't share a config file.  This works great for me.
