Zenith K7000 cap kit
« on: June 21, 2007, 06:36:53 am »
I was recently given a Wells-Gardner K7131 monitor. It works, but definitely needs a cap kit.

It appears to be the Zenith-made version (two pink wires to the anode cap, PCB is brown w/ green text). I know the flyback is different, but are all the caps the same as a standard WG K7000? What other quirks are there in dealing with this variation?

Capkit is exactly the same as regular k7000. In fact all cap numbers/positions are the same. All Zenith did was lay the foil traces out differently around the flyback to accomodate their special flyback.

Thanks Ken!

I'm off to order a cap kit.
