please! was reminiscing on another thread about drive ins. first movie i saw at one was probably jesus christ superstar and a B grade called 'laserblast'. but theres two more that i can remember something about but have no idea of the titles.
1) this movie featured some kind of rescue where some people were trapped (or kidnapped or something) in some sort of fortress/castle/mansion on a cliff or steep hill. they are rescued somehow and they hang glide to freedom. the theme from this sounded greek (and would sound familiar to some im sure) and i thought might have been by the zorba the greek composer, but checking his work nothing rings a bell.
2) a bit vaguer on this one but i recall it being set in a prison in wintertime. one of the prisoners seems to be able to slip out un-noticed. he goes out and commits crimes (might have been murders) and then goes back to prison before anyone notices! great alibi! at the very end of the movie there is something that gives him away, or at the least the guard looks twice. something like mud on his boots or something...
3) not from the drive in but i thought id throw this one in! all i remember is this guy taking off a woollen jumper while about to get down with some chick. she stabs him while the jumper is still over his head. blood everywhere! this sticks in my mind because i wasnt supposed to see this on the telly (being a bit young at the time). made a lasting impression though...
edit:
one down! 1) is 'sky riders' starring james coburn.
