MEGA CD & Fusion!
« on: June 10, 2007, 03:11:21 am »
Hi there,

Ive searched the forum but the info does not answer my question.

So I have an original MEGA CD from which I have created an ISO file.  (I also created an IMG and CUE file to be sure. For the ISO I used MagicISO, for the IMG+CUE file I used CLONECD which copies any game 1:1 (with protection and the lot!).

Fusion: I have all the MegaCD Bios set up correctly. (didnt set the Genesis Bios since I dont have it and I am not interested in Megadrive games either). Now, when I boot the ISO file of the game I have, the Sega CD front End loads up and asks me to press start. When I do this, I get the annoying CD player! On top of that, the CD player reads my Iso file and show me that it's 59 minutes long. Yet, I cannot play the best game of all time: SNATCHER!

Can anybody tell me what I am doing wrong?
1 I need the Megadrive Bios since the Mega CD was an addon
2 There is a special way to backup my MEGACD i.e. the methods I have used are wrong.
3 ????????

Thanks for any advice you could give me!

It does not like the file or setup so by default I believe it kicks you into the CD player.

Are you sure your BIOS files are correct?

I would recommend asking question in the fusion forum:

Sorted!

there was nothing wrong with the Bios. The problem was the ISO rip. There is a set way in which you have to rip these games. That's why it didnt work.
Thanks!
