hi

this is not a complaint towards mamemarquees.com, just need some help in contacting them / order advice.

i placed an order on 15 may 07 and payed through paypal. i had contact from them and had order confirmation email etc.  i have not heard anything since then.

i do live in the uK so understand this process can take some time - but 3 weeks?  i have ordered stuff from the  states and had them in under 2.

i have also sent an email 2 days ago asking for an update on my order - but have had no reply - is scott on holiday or something?

have people in the UK ordered from mm.com - how long did it take?

thanks

tony

I have no idea how long an international shipment may take in this case, but I do know that Scott gets VERY busy. He is very careful with his color balancing and print quality which can also be time consuming.

I have ordered for myself and others a number of times through mamemarquees, and while you sometimes need to be patient the result is always worth the wait IMO. Nobody else comes close. Just hang in there!!

I have done shipments to Europe from the US in the past that have taken up to 4 weeks to reach their final destination including the UK.  Maybe some overzealous customs agent has snagged it for processing. :dunno

Send me a note off-line with your name and order number and I will see where your order is, as much as I can, with UK orders there is no good tracking through USPS.  I have had things take up to 4 weeks if they get caught up in customs.  But typically it is a lot quicker.  Let make sure nothing got screwed up on my side.

I offloaded 90% of my emails to the wife... all the emails to info@mamemarquees.com and the form on my site go to her, and she has been 1000% better then me as far as responding, so I am surprised you did not get a note back.  Hopefully it did not get stripped out by a spam filter.

I just tracked it down with your email in byoac... and this was a mess up on our part, it got lost in the system.  We upgraded the shipping and shipped it out GLOBAL EXPRESS today.  I am really sorry for the trouble.

I think that is really admirable of Scott to post that he was wrong here.  He could have easily just PM'ed the OP and hidden his mistake.  It speaks volumes.

Rick
If I do not respond to your post in a timely manner, feel free to PM me.

That is integrity to the max.  8)  One of the many reasons that he has stayed in business.

That and an upgrade to global express probably costs as much as the artwork.
