Author Topic: Is the Arcade Art Library down - RESOLVED (Read 14193 times)

Hi,

I have been trying to download some CP overlays from the Arcade Art Library for a couple of days now with no success. The download window comes up but the fiel is tiny (700 bytes), same with tha zip.

If you unzip it the message says unable to find the file.

Is it me (i.e. am i doning some thing dumb) or is there a problem with the site.

Was trying to downlaod any CPO.
I just wanted to play around with an .ai file so I could design my own.
Thought it would be good to see a real example.

So I tried the first 5 or 6 all the same.

I'll try again in a minute.

Nope still can't get it too work
If I download as a zip its says the following when I open it

Their site got hacked over the weekend. There might be some issues still with the art files. Who knows what the hacker did to the site.

Is this place around anymore? I want to learn about making a CP overlay and what not but I can not find any sources of art. Any sights for arcade vector art? i've gone through the forum and the links i do find tend to be dead (due to posts from about 5 years ago).

Any help is appreciated.

This is still a bit rough around the edges as I've upgraded the 4images software, so I may have introduced a some bugs into the site. However, I have it all running as it was prior to it going dark. I've moved it to a new domain because that old domain just had to much spam and junk associated with it.

Looks like the AAL is back up. Also looks like my account is toast as with the credit to all my uploads. So how does this get resolved? I emailed before the site took a crap many moths ago and I just emailed SW again regarding this issue.

The database was as-is from when it went out months ago until now, so perhaps it was during the conversion from when Mahuti took it. I'll read over your note and get back to you. I might just have to do it by hand.
