Well for screenshots and title screens of SNES games you can go to http://www.cherryroms.com .   They have an ingame shot and a title screen shot for all the SNES games in GoodSNES 0.999.4.

Demon-seed,

Do you have your NES and Genesis Boxes/snaps and art collections available online anywhere for download as zip files?
I hope you find a way to share the wealth--and hope that other sites also pop up for the SNES, T-16, Master, etc. as I would also like to have files of all these systems.
Thanks.

There are no real good standard naming conventions for console roms unfortunately.  Therefore, snapshots are named whatever.....

What about goodroms?  Isn't that a good rom name standard?

GoodRoms would help because then we wouldn't know the "real" name. It simply abbreviates the current filename for consoles, which is bad.

Just wondering how your collection of snaps etc for emulators other than MAME is coming along?.(Genesis/zsnes in particular)
Now that Gens is modified for use with the esc key and arcadevga card,it would be cool to add your snapshots if they could be posted somewhere.
I would understand if u got sick of collecting them though as it would have been a big job.

Hi,
I have many or almost all the gen snaps/boxs and carts. I am planning on SNES next. I am rather pissed off though, when I said I was collecting all the snaps no body offered to help me.. now that they are done everyone wants them.

Virtually every project I have started has turned out the same so don't take it personally.  Remember the old addage.... "If you want to do soemthing right....."

With some more information I might be able to do an auto parser, but to be honest I'm only interested in nintendo titles as sega consoles only had one game series going for them (sonic).

I always hated Sonic.  Even when I was a kid I never thought it was any fun and just couldn't understand what all the fuss was about.  I was always jealous, though, of the superior sports titles EA always made for Sega's consoles compared with Nintendo's.  The Phantasy Star games were also supposed to be great, but I've never played any of them.  I guess I'm kind of a Nintendo guy.  I've owned each Nintendo system (even the virtual boy  :) ) and the Dreamcast is the only Sega system I have.
