Yep.


They even sell them in packaging specifically for use on PC.


You'd just need to d/l the drivers.

wired controllers plug right in... wireless need a 20 dollar adaptor

So the xbox360 has usb inputs on the front?

What I'm asking is:  wired controller for pc or xbox360 have the exact same cable?

You can also use wireless controller by getting the wireless adaptor.  I've done both, works great :)

Could you use a blue tooth adapter by any chance instead of the wireless adapter made by microsoft?

I've done this. Does anyone know of a way to use that middle button ( the one with the 'X' logo thing on it ) for something other than opening that annoying battery monitor? Basically I want to use it as a regular button, but the button doesn't show up in Windows' controller settings.

It's use is restricted, even in the XNA refresh1.0 tools

Yes I use my doa xbox360 stick on my computer through the usb ports. I just installed the drivers.  The only difference in the 360 controllers and the ones for windows in the driver cd.
