Convergence Issues
« on: May 25, 2007, 11:57:55 am »
I have a WG 19K7635 that the colors were way off and was missing green. I rejuvenated the tube and now I have bright colors, but the convergence is way off on the bottom. I have tried to fix the convergence on the bottom, but when I do the convergence on the top of the screen messes up. Is there a way to get the top and bottom to sync??

Also the plastic that holds the yoke securely to the tube under the clip is broken and gone, the yoke clamp is connected directly to the tube neck, and the yoke rotates slightly when the monitor is moved in any way. Should I just try and glue it the best I can?

OR

Should I just drop the cash and get a 19" multisync from WG?? I know their monitors aren;t the best anymore, butI can't find anyone else that sells 19" EGA monitors.

The forums at www.vendoramusements.com had a thread about how the site admin had to glue his yoke back to the tube with clear silicone glue because the plastic had busted on his Wells-Gardner monitor. He had pictures posted of what he did.

The edge alignment is done by tilting the yoke.

Thanks Ken, I'll check that out. I hopefully will have time to spend with it this weekend.
