ini file format help please
« on: May 24, 2007, 07:51:21 pm »
so i have all my mame ini files created and they all say 'auto resolution' in them (im using the mamewah res tool but just about to switch to the arcadevga res tool). i want to manually put a resolution in the mortal kombat ini files but how to i write it in the file i.e. what is the correct format? do i just write '401 X 256' or 'resolution=401 X 256' or what?

thank you

sorry just realised this should be in 'software' can some nice mod move it please?

I tried mamewah res tool for hours and got nowhere I would suggest using the avgain software on ultimarcs site it was made to use with the arcadevga and I got it going right in minutes instead of hours and getting nothing accomplished when trying the mamewah res tool.

you go into the specific game ini file and delete whatever res it has and replace it with your's in the exaxt way but different digits then save the file and it will display it with what you have choosen.
