What do I need? k7000
« on: May 09, 2007, 06:55:30 pm »
I picked up a Dynamo cab with Super Street Fighter 2 and a 25"... well, screen. The only things left of it are the screen and the tube, which are still mounted in the cabinet.

Unfortunately, I dont know a whole lot about monitors and their parts.

From searching this forum and googling with what little I know, Im still pretty much where I started.

I guess what I want to  know is what I would need to make the monitor work again, where I can get it, and how much it would cost - I looked at chassis from 8liners and Alva... but I dont really know what I'm looking for...

The only identifiers I have are that the original chassis was a 25k7193 and that its a zenith screen/tube

thanks for your help

You want Wei-ya chassis # 825H (not 826) from Alva Amusement for $76.

How to install it is at

http://home.earthlink.net/~arcadeparts/index.html

If you buy an 8liners chassis (Jen Shinn) you need to tell them: 10 pin, low impedance, 25".

Thats exactly what I needed to know, thanks a ton, Ken!

The only questions I still have are...
What is the Suction cup looking thing called?
When/how would you install it? It doesn't seem to be mentioned in the Tutorial.
Is it included in the Wei-ya 825H package? It looks like it is from the pictures.
