Video Cards & TVs
« on: May 07, 2007, 05:29:02 pm »
I am debating between an 18" computer monitor and a 20"+ TV.  I like how the monitor comes on when the PC gets turned on, but I think a larger screen would look a bit better.  What type graphic card and what settings should be used if using the S-Video mode of a graphic card.  Does any one recommend a particular model?  Are there different considerations if I end up using the 18" monitor instead?  My motherboard has an AGP slot for video.  Does amount of video memory effect the picture the same if you are using a monitor vs. a TV?

- Read the faq?

- Pretty much any card in the last few years. No. Use AGP before PCI. No or not really.
