Adobe illustrator Cs3 improvement?

Adobe Illustrator Cs3 has just been released. One of the important elements that can be used for restoring artwork is the live trace feature. Cs2 version was a pretty bad feature, it did not make it look close enough to the origional. How does CS3 compare? You decide. Personaly i think cs3 does a much better job then Cs2 did.
First the Png image fully vectored with little tweeking. only 8 colors enabled

So was all this done with live trace?  I'd love to see a comparision with the same image done in cs2 and cs3

yes all of this was done in live trace. i did nothing by hand. all i did was select the image and hit live trace, selected inked drawing and thats about it except for changing color amounts. As for cs2 and cs3 il see what i can do.

You should look at the result close up. I have always found that live tracing works fine when you look at it from the whole picture, but when you go close it looks like a mess.

sacle it at 400% or more and let see if you still find it nice and sharp
