God these bring back memories, frogger was a journalist??
« on: April 19, 2007, 11:48:11 am »
Alright, I went looking through some of my mpegs and found this. I am such a sucker for nostalgia. It is funny to see how badly this stuff holds up with time. No matter how bad it is I can't stop watching it. If anyone has anything good to post that would be great. Let see how much bad 70's 80's and 90's stuff we can get posted. Oh and i suppose I should include 60's as well if the age poll is any indication  ;D

Wow, I had totally forgotten about those cartoons!

This also reminded me of the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon I used to love watching back then.

Philly burbs here... I actually forgot all about that show until I saw the intro. Not exactly a fan, but I remembered it!  ;)

I love finding stuff like that. It is a great feeling to see something you totally forgot about and have it spark up all kinds of good memories and nostalgia. It is funny you mentioned that Chris, my buddy actually has the entire run of the Dungeons and Dragons cartoon and he is copying it for me.

@TOK, if you remember starstuff, how about candy apple news or al alberts showcase. Ahhhh the memories.

We should start a nostalgia sticky where people can post links to 80's stuff  :o with everyone from the community chiming in I am sure we could find some retro greatness!!!!

al alberts showcase.

Al Albert frightened me.

I'll add "Larry Ferrari" to the list of stuff I remember from childhood.
But wasn't it fun to think you won the lottery, just for a second there???

Here are some more. If you are a child of the eighties you should check these out, even if you don't recognise the titles.

You're going way back... You might also remember Captain Noah and Wee Willy Weber.  :o
I was pretty young when Wee Willy Weber was on. I can just remember him being on between cartoons, but not really anything about his show. Did he host those crazy old Spider Man cartoons with the jazz music?

Looking up when Larry Ferrari was on, I found a thing about Chief Halftown. Man, Philly was like ---smurfy--- show capital of the USA in the late 70's and early 80's!
