Alms for the Artistically Challenged?
« on: April 18, 2007, 12:05:29 am »
I'm working on some artwork for my father's bartop he's building.  I was wondering if somebody might be able to help in regards to adding some wings to my Galaga bug.  Think of Galaga and Phoenix getting it on and having this thing as offspring.  Journey album cover style.  Trying to go for that hardcore 80's feel.  If anybody might be able to assist in their spare time, it would be appreciated.

Edited subject for the spelling challenged. LOL

Could these wings work for you? The 2nd ones in particular..

The image comes in a vector, so the gold color could be easily modified to be whatever you want..

EDIT: sorry about that.. accidentally posted the link with an image tag at first.

Ouch, I checked over that website and you have to pay for credits, and the image is worth 5 credits.  Thanks.  If I get hard up, I may still give it a go.  Anybody else?

Yeah, I'm more looking for the wings to come down, like he's swooping in.  I got a ton of Journey covers for reference, but the hard part is going to make them look like they belong and not just slapped on there.
