Atomic problem with GPWiz49
«

I am pulling this issue out of another thread that I had hijacked.
http://forum.arcadecontrols.com/index.php?topic=64747.msg656432#msg656432
I have a Midway 49-way joystick that is connected to a GPWiz49. This is the only controller connected to the PC and it is recognized by Windows and MAME. I also have the latest version of AtomicFE downloaded from the site.
The joystick works fine in MAME and in Windows. However Atomic refuses to recognize any button press or joystick movement. I have Atomic setup to recognize analog joysticks and it knows that I have a GPWiz49. I have also tried several of the modes for the GPWiz49 but nothing seems to work. Does anyone have this setup and can help me fix mine?
Thanks,
Kaytrim

As i answered in the other thread. I don' t know what happens here.
It seems the solution for you , is to use Joytokey while in Atomic , then let Atomic configure your GP49Wiz according to the game.
