Nieman has a tri-sync - which does EGA, CGA, and VGA - and, what I'd call a tri-sync, but isn't a 'tri-sync' - as it does VGA, SVGA, and XGA. True, the Billabs is a penta-mode (and a Betson does almost as well in this area, given it goes up through SVGA), so you have to figure what you're wanting it for. My guess of why Rick makes these two is for reasons of quality and quality control.
