Hi
Have been reading a bit about these 360 degree joysticks and how with some front ends you can program them to be 2 or 4 or 8 way joysticks.
Does anyone have a list of which front ends / versions of MAME do this?

As far as I know, Mala is the only one that has a plugin that sends a map to the u360. I assume people that don't use Mala use batch files to manually send maps, but I'm not sure. Anyone please correct me if I'm wrong.
