New side art and cp
« on: March 28, 2007, 02:10:20 pm »
These are still very much works in progress as I've yet to find a font that I'm happy with.  The theme is "The Devil's Plaything" and I'm using Coop artwork.  I always loved his stuff but can't get any of his tattoo's (I already have a japanese theme) so I figured this is the next best thing.  This is all photoshop btw.

That is a great idea, Coop's work is really cool.  I love pinups in general and devils are cool too.  I may have to do some sort of pinup thing with my cab.

I think somebody else said it in another thread recently and I gotta follow it "steal the best, make up the rest"  I think stealing the pinup idea could be good.

Later, keep us posted as you progress.

This is really cool. The proportions of the chick are perfect with the cab. Are you planning on having 'The Devil's Plaything' written somewhere on the cab? If so, where?

Also, there are some really cool fonts at:

Just a suggestion. Keep the pics coming. Looks great so far. :applaud:

This is what I finally decided on for the control panel.  It's being printed as we speak.

Nice choice.  Red buttons? I think that red translucent w/ red lighting would look pretty hot.

Just the red leds and I didn't realize how difficult it was since I've never done it so this will be interesting to do.

Great tip am_monkee, lots of really good stuff there. I downloaded one (scary Monster) and typed the kids names in the font, print out in black and white and they spent ages coloring them in. Thanks!

I got the CPO on last night and I'm happy with it.  Those electric ice buttons are going to look sweet.

no, that's the polycarbinate laminate.  I think it's standard on CPOs

Hmm, I like it but I had something like this in mind.  Minus the blue and yellow argyle background and censored for the girlfriend of course.
