I know I haven't been around here for all that long, but I'm making my own cab just like a ton of people here and try to do most of the stuff myself. I've made my own artwork and printed it myself. (I can't link the topic in Project Announcements for some reason, but mine is on Page 2 right now called "MAME Lightning Cab Project") I work at a Premedia company and have been there for almost 4 years and use a lot of different machines to proof our pieces on. I'm familiar with the printing process and the different color aspects (CMYK and RGB).
I've just acquired a "new" printer for my basement and thought I'd throw out to people here what I am (and hopefully soon) and will do. I can print out CPO's, Marquees, and Sideart (within certain dimensions) on photo matte paper and ship them myself for less than most other places. Now since this isn't a full-time job like Mamemarquees, I'd be doing it on my own time, but everyday and ship whatever is done the next day.
Right now I have photo matte paper, but I hope to get Adhesive Synthetic paper that is the same size and is waterproof. Basically, that would work more for sideart than the others.
Unfortunately, I'll have to double-check the width of what can actually be printed on the paper, but it's close to what I know.
Sizes:
Marquees: Up to 24" wide and 20" tall
CPOs: Up to 23" tall and 48" wide
Sideart: Up to 23" wide and 72" tall (that's not a typo)
Prices:
Marquees: $25
CPOs: $45
Sideart: $8 sq. ft.
Price will change once I get the adhesive paper.
These prices include shipping (UPS Ground -- 2-4 days). Faster shipping is available. Just request.
The only thing I would need would be the final art files. Either CMYK or RGB will work. I have the Adobe Creative Suite 2, so native files would work. I'd prefer things in TIFF format if possible because of resolution. CANNOT GO BELOW 150 DPI!!! Things look bad at anything less. NO MORE THAN 600 DPI!! Because it'll take too long to process on the computer.
PM me any questions or concerns and I'll make sure to reply immediately when I get them. If anyone wants to know if I'm "sketchy" or a con artist, go check my ebay feedback under "Duake".
Thanks for your time.
